THE PACIFIC BASIN CONSORTIUM FOR ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH SCIENCES PRESENTS ITS 12th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

PBC2007 Conference Program 26-29 October, 2007

All sessions will take place in the Yingjie Overseas Exchange Center at Peking University. Schedules will be posted with room numbers for each session.

The technical program will consist of an opening plenary session, two days of concurrent sessions, a student panel, an ongoing poster session, and a closing plenary session . Workshops (separate registration required) will be offered on Friday, October 26, 2007. A tentative agenda is outlined below.

Excursions

STUDENT PARTICIPATION

A special emphasis will be placed on ensuring significant participation by students in the conference. Students will be encouraged to submit abstracts for inclusion as platform presentations and in the poster session, special scholarships will be offered to a certain number of students to attend the meeting, and an international student discussion focused on environmental health issues is planned for one lunch period of the conference.
